Investment Banking Analyst

New analysts are placed with coverage duties for a variety of business sub-sectors into sector teams. Alongside other financial services, you'll provide support on acquisitions and mergers, public offerings as an analyst. Our market focus and deal team size give analysts a chance to work from customer companies on a regular basis with bankers and direction. Separately, analysts can be placed directly in the Financial Sponsors Coverage Team, where they'll focus on serving the mid-market private equity community or to the Equity Capital Markets Team where they'll focus on developing experience related to corporate funding choices from the equity markets.

From all levels of the company, analysts receive support throughout the program. The program starts with 3 weeks of training in our Milwaukee office. Ongoing training comes from mentors assigned from bankers on deal teams and to every analyst. With time, you have a chance to play a vital part and gain a high degree of proficiency. You will assume a wide selection of duties including: Creating company valuations and financial models - generating trade advertising substances such as purchasing memoranda, roadshow presentations and pitch books - functioning industry and business research and investigation - Acting as per point of contact via the transaction process - Attending meetings of customer - Developing varied industry and trade expertise, and stay up-to-date on industry developments - Creating a comprehension of the underlying tendencies which impact the equity capital markets - Gaining a comprehension of the interests and investment standards of lots of middle-market private equity companies - Nominees for the program will have the following credentials: A strong workforce, detail orientation and per passion for excellence - The capacity to excel in both self and team directed settings - An Associate's level with a minimum 3.5 Grade point average - A working understanding of spreadsheet and word processing applications - The Interview Process - First round interviews include interviews with one to two bankers, typically 20-half per hour each.

The interviews happen either on campus or in you of our offices. Second round interviews consist of six interviews with two shareholders per interview. Each interview is 20-half an hour. The interviews occur from our Chicago and Milwaukee offices. A reception is held with applicants and shareholders on this evening prior to this interviews. Offers are made soon after the second round of interviews.
